Mackie's Crisps to Launch in Russia
Last updated: 10.39am, Tuesday 18th October 2016
Mackie’s Crisps are spreading further afield, with our products now set to launch in the premium Russian supermarket chain Azbuka Vkusa.
The supermarket retailer was founded in 1997 and now has over 100 supermarkets, spread across Moscow & St. Petersburg.
We are now one of the 900 producers that Azbuka Vkusa works with from 70 countries around the world. They are taking a selection of flavours from the Mackie’s 150g Core & Ridge ranges into their stores.
This is a welcome development in our export sales, which currently see us exporting to 17 countries spanning across Europe, North America, Asia and Australasia.
James Taylor, Commercial Director for Mackie’s at Taypack, commented on the move saying:
‘Growing our export market remains a big priority for the company as we are constantly seeking out opportunities in new markets as well as strengthening our brand and growing sales in our existing markets.’
We look forward to seeing how our crisp flavours are received in Russia, as well as discovering which country Our Crisps will travel to next!
